The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is a directive that aims to improve the functioning of the internal market for accessible products and services, by removing barriers created by divergent rules in Member States.

The deadline for the implementation is 28 June 2025.

The EAA also applies to companies outside the EU that provide services or sell products in the EU.
For example, a Swiss online shop that also delivers to clients in the EU must comply with the EAA.

About us

As Frontend Engineer and Accessibility Expert, I have been involved in the implementation of graphical user interfaces for over 20 years, with a focus on web and mobile content accessibility.

I work alongside public and private companies throughout the entire process of ideation and development of the digital solution in order to optimize costs and results.

For all my activities, the current normative references are the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and, for the Switzerland, the eCH-0059 Accessibility Standard V3.0.

Content editors coaching

Most of the accessibility issues come from bad content authoring which is unaware of the best practices. I can coach and support your content editors so they can produce better content, all along the application lifespan.

Application monitoring

Caring about accessibility does not stop with the Production go-live or a certification acquisition. New issues can pop up at any time but we make sure that they are detected and fixed as fast as possible.
